Want to get involved? Come along to an Information Evening

We have organised information evenings for throughout 2008 at the Samaritan centre in Bournemouth. Please contact us if you are interested in coming along, so we know how much to fill the kettle.

Information evenings are informal events where you can find out more about the service Samaritans provide. You can ask questions and get a feel for whether we are a charity that you'd like to become involved in.

There are various volunteer roles which have different amounts of commitment. If you want to get involved but you don't have a huge amount of time to spare, come along to talk about what you can do to help.

We're sure you'll get a huge amount from the experience of being a Samaritan volunteer but it's up to you. Come along and talk to the volunteers themselves and then decide if you want to take things further.

Branch Meetings in 2008

We also have regular evenings where we invite a guest speaker from other local charities to help us understand more about what services are available to people in the area.

It's also a good opportunity to have a coffee and meet or catch up with other Samaritan volunteers too!
